  Dr. Kathaiyan was an excellent Dr. and person when he took care of my son- in- laws grandparents and my mother-in-law.I was the caregiver for all 3 of them and he would always call me back even after hours to answer my questions and also give me advice on what to do in those many emergencies we had.They all loved him.He is very Intelligent,Honest and Trustworthy.And that is a rarity today.

  Dr. Udayakumar Kathaiyan was the doctor assigned to me after I made clear after having been raped by a foreign born VA doctor while I was having a seizure and stated I will not revisit another foreign born doctor. I also made clear I would not come unless I could see a urologist. I was told dr. Kathaiyan was born in the US I was told I would be seeing a urologist why else would I go in, during the first visit he said very little and disguised his voice the woman in the room with us however said yes he was born in the US he did not correct her. I had been desperately seeking help with a prescription refill for a medical condition called interstitial cystitis until my surgery appointment. I was on the phone with the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center for hours a day for like a month begging for; a refill, an analgesic for my bladder. I couldn't walk without it I used a kitchen chair with wheels to get from the kitchen to the toilet . The representative at the VA clinic said if I came in my prescription would be filled. I still suffer from the trauma of the rape and have always felt vulnerable and exploited victimized since meeting the VA doctor whom raped me. Without regard to my severe trauma from being raped the social worker, doctor and staff in the Myrtle Beach VA clinic conspired to abuse my trust by lying to me and then deny me the second refill on the analgesic for my bladder, without it I couldn't walk, my neighbors bought the prescription for me since the clinic said Udayakumar Kathaiyan claimed he wasn't sure I needed the medicine so the VA denied the second refill . The Myrtle Beach doctor Udayakumar Kathaiyan and his gang of malicious medical hacks I believe used their positions to subjugate me and thwart my medical treatment when they lured me in with an agenda other than caring for me medically.
